Job Summary and Qualifications

As an EVS Technician, you will work under the direction of the Supervisor and you will perform a variety of housekeeping services necessary to ensure a clean, safe hospital.

In this role:

• You must be capable of working independently, setting priorities, and being flexible.
• You must have strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• You must possess a thorough understanding of flooring surfaces and their maintenance, to include stripping, scrubbing and refinishing of floors, carpet shampooing & extracting.
• You must be able to perform all cleaning duties of an EVS assistant.
• You must be able to move arms above your head, lift, and push housekeeping equipment.
• You must be able to work with disinfectants and other cleaning chemicals according to procedures daily.
• You must be able to climb ladders up to six feet.
• You must be able to use housekeeping equipment such as floor machines, compactors, and medical waste processors.

What qualifications you will need:

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• A minimum of one-year housekeeping experience, Prefer within the hospital
