MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST
You will serve as a MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST in the Naval Education and Training Security Assistance Field Activity of NET SEC ASTFLD ACT.
- You will provide comprehensive support and assistance on a wide variety of personnel programs, including staffing, recruiting, performance management, position management, and employee relations.
- You will initiate, monitor, coordinate, and track all on-going and projected personnel actions, maintaining official files and ensuring timely coordination with servicing personnel offices and management.
- You will utilize and maintain various automated data systems and local internal trackers to manage organizational data, retrieve information, and provide program services, reports, and procedural instructions.
- You will act in a confidential capacity when handling sensitive information related to disciplinary actions, investigations, audits, and staffing matters, often attending management meetings on these topics.
- You will assist management with the recruitment process, from identifying best sources to reviewing resumes and coordinating the arrival and check-in of new employees.
- You will use analytical techniques to identify and resolve a range of complex civilian personnel workforce problems, often developing new methods or recommending changes to policy and procedures.
Requirements
GS-07 Minimum Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-5 level, including independent work on a range of personnel or management programs, 1) Carrying out managerial tasks independently and with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all work products 2) Protecting sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality 3) Researching, compiling, and analyzing information to prepare reports or recommendations 4) Communicating complex issues with colleagues and management through written and oral skills. NOTE: All experience must be fully demonstrated in your resume to be considered for the position. GS-09 Minimum Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-7 level, including independent work on a range of personnel or management programs within the federal government 1)analyzing and improving work methods, procedures, or organizational policy to enhance efficiency 2) Working on complex and sensitive personnel matters (e.g., staffing, performance management, disciplinary actions) that require confidentiality and sound judgement 3) Interpreting and applying a wide range of federal personnel regulations, policies, and procedures to resolve complex issues and provide authoritative advice. 4) Experience using federal data systems to retrieve data, prepare reports, and manage personnel actions.
