We are currently recruiting talent on behalf of our nonprofit network who have a position as a Janitorial Field Lead-College Station! This position is part of the AbilityOne Program. Candidates selected to be an AbilityOne participating employee must provide documentation verifying a qualifying significant disability, as required by U.S. AbilityOne Commission policies.

As a Janitorial Field Lead, you will supervise, and coordinate activities of workers engaged in cleaning and maintaining premises of commercial, industrial buildings. WORK SCHEDULE & LOCATION
• Part-time
• First Shift
• Monday and Thursday, 9am-12:30pm; Tuesday, Wednesday, & Friday 9am–3pm
• Location: College Station, TX
WHAT YOU WILL DO
• Ensure and enforce job site safety and OSHA compliance regulations
• Ensures equipment is maintained and supplies on hand for assigned work
• Monitor employee timekeeping via Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
• Lead cleaning crew including building your team, training, counseling and coaching
• Arrange work schedules for assigned rotation staff members
• Resolve problems and discrepancies on jobs and/or interact with clients to amend issues
• Conduct quality control checks
• Operational support to Leads/Team when necessary
• Conduct performance reviews; rewarding and disciplining employees via Coach and Counsel statements
• Telephone marketing to customers and local area businesses. Unsolicited quotations for services. Grow the business line.
• Performs other team growth duties as assigned working closely with key organization leadership
• Schedule w/ customer semi-annual floor care, experience using a buffer
• Lead 1 to 2 employees per day
• Ability to operate a golf cart
Requirements
WHAT YOU BRING
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong knowledge of MS Suite of Products (MS Outlook, Excell, Word, etc.)
• Foor care skills and use of industry equipment.
• One to two years’ experience in custodial / janitorial services
COMPENSATION
• $17.75 an hour
• $4.93 an hour health and welfare
