Entry-Level Design Engineer - GE

An Entry-Level Design Engineer job is currently available at Belcan in Cincinnati, OH. This is a full time, direct job with full benefits. In this job, you will support design for tooling for building aircraft engines.Job Duties:* Support equipment design and development* Design, including concept sketches and layouts* Preparation of specifications and design calculations* Reviewing and checking designs, drawings and data by subordinate engineers, designers, and vendors* Reviews design documents of equipment manufacturers or subcontractors.* Presenting engineering design review presentationsRequired:* BS or MS degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar discipline* Skilled with Microsoft Office tools and possess some knowledge of modeling and analysis using one or more tools* Knowledge of industry standard practices and project organization; task supervision by* design/drafting personnel.* Experience with stress analysis, technical writing, and manufacturing process* Self-motivated, adaptable, highly organized and possess excellent communication abilities* Legal authorization to work in the US required and has or able to get security clearancePreferred:* Experience with NX or other modeling software* Experience with ANSYSWe provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary rate of $62,400 to $66,560 however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
