Program Manager
This position is located at Bureau of Engraving and Printing, with in the Office of Engraving,DCF (District of Columbia Facility) in Washington, DC. As a Program Manager, you will you will manage teams of program staff at DCF, ensuring the effective implementation and execution of BEP objectives, supervise daily activities, foster team development, and ensure compliance with organizational policies. You will be a point of contact between OE and internal/external stakeholders.
As a Program Manager, you will be doing, but not limited to, the following duties: Develop and support strategic plans and initiatives for OE, develop and track office metrics in support of the overall Manufacturing and BEP strategic goals to ensure alignment between OE goals and the overarching BEP strategic plan. Monitor OE performance outcomes and develop strategies for maintaining appropriate performance levels in support of BEP's mission. Manage and implement new technologies, processes, and/or improvements for OE. Perform program/project management, strategic planning, workforce planning, budget formulation and justification, financial analysis, analytics, and reporting. Supervise assigned staff, provide guidance, ensure program tasks are executed and completed on time, and assign work to subordinates based on priorities, requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of employees.

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement: Specialized Experience for the GS-14, you must have one year (full 52 weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as: Experience serving as a team lead/managing within a production/manufacturing environment, which includes project management; AND Planning and executing requirements related to manufacturing processes; AND Identifying work-related issues, developing solutions, and communicating proposed corrective actions with stakeholders; AND Communication of technical results, operational metrics, and synthesizing production data to senior leadership. In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-14, you must have been at the GS-13 level for 52 weeks.
