Supervisory IT Program Manager

This position is located at Departmental Offices, Treasury Common Services Center, Office of the Deputy Admin for Technology Services Operations. As a Supervisory IT Program Manager, you will be serving as a technical expert on IT infrastructure (telecommunications, operating systems, servers, office automation platforms, peripherals, commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) products, databases, and applications).


As a Supervisory IT Program Manager, you will: Advise on enterprise-wide program initiatives and troubleshoots individual systems as a means of supporting the Treasury Chief Information Officer (CIO). Initiate, develop, implement, and maintain oversight, management, and support of IT infrastructure, including initial deployments, enhancements, and upgrades. Assure the consistency in program outcome, adequacy, and success of Treasury IT infrastructure endeavors, including utilizing performance metrics to measure performance and assess user satisfaction.


Requirements

You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: For the GS-15 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes: - Management of enterprise platform operations and managed services program activities, including operational oversight, service delivery, and change and configuration management, AND - Acquisition management, including preparing requirements and statements of work, evaluation of proposals, financial planning, cost analysis, and vendor performance management; AND - Experience demonstrating strong customer service skills, such as managing escalations, preparing executive briefings and communicating with all levels of stakeholders. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. TIME-IN-GRADE: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-15, you must have been at the GS-14 level for 52 weeks. TIME AFTER COMPETITIVE APPOINTMENT: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
