Quality Control Manager
SUMMARY: Oversees and performs all operational quality control activities; coordinates and directs Quality Control Inspectors in their assigned responsibilities; uses independent judgment, within the framework of contract requirements, established Company policies, protocols, objectives, and higher direction, in decision-making; makes recommendations and assists in the formulation of operational objectives and plans for assigned project site(s); plans, directs, and coordinates project site activities through Quality Control Inspectors by effectively monitoring and utilizing Smart Facility Software; oversees and manages ATP testing programs, including scheduling, conducting, monitoring, documenting, and analyzing ATP test results to verify cleaning effectiveness and support infection prevention and quality assurance initiatives; ensures corrective actions are implemented when ATP results fall below established standards; and ensures that contract requirements, CIMS standards, and Company goals and objectives are accomplished by performing the following duties:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for auditing and conducting Quality Control Inspections at applicable worksites using Smart Facility Software to ensure that contractual obligations are met, and Company standards are maintained.
- Maintains required tracking records/databases, including all quality issues and/or deficiencies. Meets with the Management team weekly to discuss and decide on corrective action.
- Responsible for ensuring that corrective action is implemented and that positive results are achieved.
- Responsible for receiving non-compliant reports/complaints from Customer and providing a summary of the corrective action taken to the Management Team for review and comment.
- Responsible for communicating changes/information regarding Smart Facility Software and/or procedures through training and/or distributing informational materials. May be asked to provide observations on the effectiveness of current processes.
- Maintains effective and open communication with Management Team Members to ensure compliance with Company standards and Contractual obligations.
- Maintains up to date/working knowledge of Smart Facility Software, Company standards and contractual requirements.
- Responsible for identifying deficiencies. Records and prepares written reports of any deficiencies and submits to the Management Team weekly. Ensures that appropriate corrective action, required by the Management Team, is implemented in a timely manner.
- Prepares daily Fault Reports based on the previous day's inspections. Disseminates Fault Reports to appropriate Supervisors/Team Leaders. Ensures that Fault Reports are addressed/corrected and returned in a timely manner.
- Prepares monthly Quality Control Reports for the government per contract requirements.
- Responsible for maintaining tablets. Ensures tablets are functional and that the Operating System and apps are updated regularly.
- Responsible for syncing tablets daily for inspectors.
- Ensure all operations align with CIMS standards by maintaining documentation, supporting audits, and monitoring performance to uphold quality, safety, and service consistency.
- Conduct, monitor, document, and analyze ATP testing activities to verify cleaning effectiveness, ensure compliance with quality standards, and support corrective action and continuous improvement initiatives.
- All other related duties as assigned.
